Why do you use pre-paid reservations instead of regular reservations?

Uwe is a small space, and we want to create an intimate dining environment for our guests. Pre-paid reservations allow us to anticipate who is coming in and to give guests an all-encompassing experience at the best price possible.

What is on the menu?

The menu will vary. We find and source the best ingredients possible to serve one nightly 6 – 8 course menu with daily specials.

Do you allow corkage?

We have taken great care to create a wine list that compliments and enhances your dining experience at Uwe. We do, however, allow guests to bring in their own wine and we charge $360HKD per standard bottle.

Do you take walk-ins?

Walk-ins are dependent on availability.

What is the dress code?

There is no dress code.

Does my credit card get charged in full?

Your credit card will be charged in full for the price of the tasting menu and any extras that you choose.

Do you accommodate for dietary restrictions?

We happily accommodate any dietary restrictions, allergies and aversions as long as we are informed at least 48 hours in advance. Please check with your friends about any restrictions they may have and please describe them as thoroughly as possible. In addition, please answer the relevant questions upon checkout. Most preferences will be accommodated, but we recommend that diners come with an open mind; ready to try things they might not ordinarily choose, trusting that with so many courses they will undoubtedly enjoy many aspects of their meal.

We are celebrating a birthday, can I bring along a cake?

Yes, you may. We love celebrating special occasions with our guests and are always excited to acknowledge birthdays. Please let us know that you will be celebrating a birthday at the time of booking so that we can tailor something accordingly.

What does my reservation include?

When you purchase a reservation at Uwe, it covers your base meal but does not include supplemental food, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee or tea.

May I increase the size of my party?

Due to the small size of our restaurant, we do not allow parties to increase their guest count. If you would like to decrease your party size, that is completely fine, but we will not be able to refund you for your ticket/ or tickets.

Can I get a refund once purchased? Can I exchange my reservation for a different night?

Just as with attending a sporting event, concert or the theatre, all sales are final. However, we would like to offer flexibility to change your date as long as it falls within the week following your original booking. You may also transfer your reservation to others.

How do I transfer my reservation?

To transfer a reservation, log in to your account and then select, "My Reservations". Each reservation has a transfer button next to it. -- https://profile.tocktix.com/account/bookings

Does Tock work on all web browsers?

Tock is designed to work on all modern browsers. Chrome, Safari, and Firefox are recommended. Old versions of IE, for example, are not supported.

Can I take photos in the restaurant?

While we do allow patrons to take photographs. We, however, do not allow flash photography, so as to preserve the intimacy of the space for all of our guests.
